Delete your Bit-Buddy account
Bit-Buddy (bitbuddy.tech), operated by James Robert Gibson Jr.
How to request deletion
- If you have Bit-Buddy Pro, cancel it first so you aren't charged again: open Bit-Buddy at bitbuddy.tech, log in, and tap Manage subscription, then cancel.
- Email bitbuddy.help@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Bit-Buddy account".
- We'll confirm by email and delete your account within 30 days.
You can also delete just your price alerts and phone-alert settings at any time, without deleting your account: remove each alert in the app, and tap Turn off under phone alerts.
What gets deleted
- Your login (email address and password, or Google sign-in link)
- Your price alerts and the phone-alert registrations for your devices
- Your membership record and plan status
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and invoice records held by our payment processor, Stripe, as tax and accounting laws require (typically up to 7 years). These include your name, email, the amounts and dates of payments, and the last 4 digits of your card, never the full card number.
- Routine server logs at our host, Netlify, which are kept for a short period and then deleted automatically.
