Bit-Buddy Terms, Privacy & Refunds

Effective October 22, 2026. Bit-Buddy is operated by James Robert Gibson Jr., Florida, USA ("we", "us"). Questions: bitbuddy.help@gmail.com.

Terms of Service

Information only. Not financial advice. Bit-Buddy shows market data and historical statistics. It does not recommend any trade, bet, or investment, and nothing in it is a forecast.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using Bit-Buddy you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old. If you don't agree, please don't use Bit-Buddy.

2. What Bit-Buddy is

Bit-Buddy is a web app that displays bitcoin price data from public exchange feeds (currently Kraken, Coinbase, Gemini and Bitstamp), countdowns for 15-minute time windows, charts, statistics based on past prices, order book data, a calendar of scheduled economic reports, alerts, and a personal trade journal. We do not buy, sell, or hold cryptocurrency, place trades or bets, or hold your money. We are not a broker, exchange, or investment adviser, and we are not affiliated with any exchange or prediction market.

3. Your decisions are your own

About the statistics. Figures such as "how past stretches like this ended" describe what happened in past price data over a recent period, with the number of examples shown. They are not predictions, probabilities of any future outcome, or recommendations, and markets can behave differently from the past. The trade journal is a record of your own decisions; Bit-Buddy does not suggest trades.

Any trade or bet you make is your decision and your responsibility. Past price movements do not predict future ones. Prices shown in Bit-Buddy can differ from the price a market or exchange uses to settle, and can be delayed or interrupted. Always check the rules and prices on the platform you trade on.

4. Accuracy and availability

Data comes from third parties and is provided "as is." We try to keep Bit-Buddy accurate and running, but we don't guarantee that data will be correct, complete, timely, or always available. Price alerts and smart alerts are checked about once a minute and may arrive late or not at all, for example if a data feed stops, your phone is offline, notifications are turned off, or your phone or browser limits them. Don't rely on alerts alone for time-sensitive decisions.

5. Bit-Buddy Pro subscriptions

6. Your account

Keep your login private. Each subscription is for one person. Don't share your account, resell or redistribute Bit-Buddy or its data, scrape it, or try to get around the Pro lock or interfere with the service. We may suspend or end accounts that break these rules.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading or betting losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Bit-Buddy or from data errors, delays, or outages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Changes and ending

We may update Bit-Buddy and these terms. If we make a significant change, we'll update the date above and tell subscribers by email. You can stop using Bit-Buddy at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Privacy Policy

We collect as little as we can. We don't sell your information, and Bit-Buddy has no ads and no ad trackers.
